I bought 50,000 SBM for 0.18c in 2002, cost $9020.65, and sold for 0.075c in 2003. Now worth about $144,000. Details are sitting above my desk in my study! But was 16 years ago.
($9k -> $18k -> $36k -> $72k -> $144k, so doubling every 4 years.). However, SBM has gone up $1 of this SP rise only over past few months, once all of its debt was paid off, at SP of about $2.75, and once the punters could see (late in the piece) there was over $300m pa a year of debt repayments now available for other uses such as SH. Took about 9 months for punters to see this even after a small initial div, 6c div I think, so SBM might be a good analogy.
