the political and legal ramifications would be mind- boggling for the labor govt.
sure they just won office and call the shots, but they are setting a massive precedent against a unanimous decision by the land Court.
Alan Jones is a massive thorn in their posterior and won't go away.
NHC are basically stuffed.that's why they are throwing everything at this and "buying" cheap scum like the local Toowoomba rag.
if these greed merchants don't get Acland, all the other leases they have on the Downs are cactus.

ps- it's ironic that if Nicholls and the Libs got up, they would have said OK to NHC. they are just scumbags like Anastasia, but haven't learned their lesson from the looney-Campbell Newmann.
