I was of the impression (rightly or wrongly) that CCE/EMC was to be using Lendlease as their agreed upon manpower for the jobs. So the engineering and expertise flows from EMC, the boots on the ground, logistics and construction management would be Lendlease.
So in this way it would be no different than if EMC used Linkforce, UGL or any other site based contractor to do the grunt work and would effect profits no differently. Lendlease benefit from being the locked in contractor to do the work and using the expertise EMC have to win work in a space they are hoping to break into. Win win.
This is only my assumption based on 15 years in the engineering management, construction and design space but I haven't heard much to the contrary. But you know what they say of those who ass-ume!
