Some buy a position and trade in and out of what they hope will be extreme volatility – they tend to favour ‘small caps’ as the swings either way tend to be more pronounced and they particularly like early stage companies before the share price is underwritten by income generation.

That’s just the way of the markets today – with a business model being built purely around the correct prediction of short term share price movement rather than being remotely concerned about what a company does - it’s management – future medium to long term prospects or it’s fundamentals.
