AFR today now talking-up the possibility of Mitsui doing more takeovers, but also other parties (incl Santos) looking at Senex.
All huff and puff stuff.
I wonder if COE is on the list?
If Santos was after domestic gas supplies, Why wouldn't Santos be interested in COE, the assets of which it is very familiar with?
Also Manta on horizon with material resources, ready to be drilled (2019??), with pipelines to be laid, with gas processing already in place, and coastal pipelines to Melb and SA next door.
COE has a wide open register.
It is all a matter of price I guess.
