No details other than there were 3 legal issues, at least, one of which has been 'sorted' to NZC's satisfaction from what I heard recently at a meeting. I did have a post moderated because legal matters were ongoing so try to stick to what is in the public arena.
I refer you to some posts/threads back in mid/late 2016 which may be of use.
NZC began as Regal back in 2004 or so as a gold explorer mostly near Leonora and from what I know the legal issues mostly are to do with "deals struck" around that time and before RER moved out of WA.
The term "deals struck" is probably the major issue as apparently very little was formally recorded and sometimes may only have involved a handshake agreement. Years later when disagreements end up in court no party has much "hard evidence" which is required for a decision.
This post was a summary of RER from testimony at a 2014 Warden's court hearing of the "Dixon Ground"/Eucalypt GM and a request for exemption. [I can't recall RER's role in this case other than testimony was given. Link to 2014 hearing and result.]
The lack of well recorded data was IMO a major reason the plaintiff's case was dismissed at that hearing. Skimming the link above shows how poorly nearly everyone came off in the Warden's view.
I would suspect NZC's remaining legal issues will have similarities (limited acceptable documentation) but it is up to the courts to decide...
These 2016 announcements probably summarise the legal matters. Dec 2016:
