Here is an update....
This is a complete write off.
Without doubt my biggest loss in more than 10 years of investing.
Why was I fooled...
Principally because the Lane family exposure, felt like a "safety blanket".
Why should I have know...
Balance sheet deterioration with clear warnings by the auditors that this company was a going concern (this was a biggie!).
No insider buying as it fell like a rock.
Vickers/Westpac debt deal.
Even way back with their overseas "expansion" to Asia and Middle East.
The loss of Ralph Lauren, being plugged too quickly with other business with much poor ROIC.
Previous CEO leaving... and so on and so forth.
