I get your point on the announcements, I find it very strange that there is no cross reference when they are released. The last stock I held that was involved in a takeover had anns from both companies released simultaneously.
As for the ace, I have no idea. Given the strong rejection from IDX, even a monster first half result probably won't be enough to sway them. When we called a trading halt the other week I thought we might have a third party come on board to sweeten the offer but that wasn't the case.
If we could drop the takeover from the picture, there is a lot to like about CAJ. Just have to wait it out for now!
