It makes all sense to me. The measure of success of a company is based on it's share price. And the ones running the company are the ones which are the responsible people/entities to make it a success. If they can't, they should either vacate their seats and move on, or liquidate the company and give/distribute what's left to it's shareholders. Period!!
Unfortunately in the Corporation World of today we have seen times and times again where some Directors have failed dismally in their jobs and yet they walked away with their pockets and Bank Accounts full without even flinching about it, and then walking straight into another job with another company with possibly the same view in mind, while the investors/shareholders have been skinned alive and mostly with empty pockets.
I am not a ST Trader and never been one but, I can see now as to why it would be better to do what they are doing playing the ups and downs of the market while making money, and not taking the risk and the long Term view of Long term Investors.
