Interesting Mel. I am thinking of investing too. The free option at 0.035 is very attractive because if the stock goes up you can make money in both the share and the option so it is like a 2 for 1. I am treating it as quite speculative though being such a small company with hardly any volume of shares trading. Two million market cap is tiny and its EPS is -0.012 .
I have also worked in Software as a developer. You are creating intellectual property and the market does not always like your product. If the quality is not there and/or your sales people can't convince people to pay for the software then your investment may not be worth much. On the other hand if your product takes off the sky is the limit eg Atlassian. But for every Atlassian there are a lot of duds.
