It is a good point to start if anyone is wanting to get a grip on what mbk have in the way of a prospect at New Constitution.

A look at the mine design for the Norton, found under asx announcements for Mantle Mining(mnm), which is just a few minutes walk from the New Constitution prospect is a good place to finish.

What becomes apparent is that Norton has substantially better drill results than New Constitution at shallower depth. And for now they have not identified any continuity in the veins they have encountered that could lead to an economic deposit being jorced.

Suggestions that digging 50+ metres for 2m @ 25g/t au when there is nothing but dirt in the top 50m is viable borders on the disingeneous.

That the company can get away with stating they found 'shallow' gold in their asx ann is surprising to say the least.

Have a look at the bottom depth of the mine pit design at Norton. Then you will see where 50m depth becomes relevant for evaluating at what depth the gold becomes uneconomic.
