At $2.50 back in November, this stock was well overcooked based on the NTA. The softening of the share price I think is good for a long-term outlook; convenient too given that today (23/01) is the final day of the DRP pricing period.
Few news stories about recently pointing to the overvaluation of commercial assets, this may have the effect of putting downward pressure on some of our property valuations - perhaps this could also be contributing to the softening of share price.
- Could be viewed in a few ways I suppose, we have long term tenants, so this is a yield stock - however, if we do look to acquire commercial property or land, at least what we pay for it may also be lower in the future. Acquisitions or development in turn driving the NTA higher, and S/P higher. Who knows either way, but I'm content for this to sit in my yield draw with full participation in the DRP -
How are others seeing this one in the light of the new year?
