For the pessimists, I refer you to my post on the 13th December, when the SP was 32c ... this analysis remains legitimate. SLR has an ultramodern plant worth $80m+, and cash and bullion of $70m ..... and no debt and a strong POG .... and by any analysis, its undervalued compared to its peers.
The quarterly is due on the 23rd January, and if guidance is confirmed, then SLR is on the path to a PE of 10 which means a net profit fo $20m for a MC of $200m or $40m for a MC of $400m, which would equate to a SP of 70c or so. With the POG predicted to remain above US$1300 ($A1650) and with judicious hedging in place, surely the SP will strengthen. Unless a big black swan swoops on SLR, a proper takeover price would be 100c+ ??. Let's hope Len appointment is not mere cronyism and a portent of corporate action that will leverage SLR's balance sheet.
Technically, SLR having breached a resistance at 40c is now testing it. A good quarterly report will provide the rocket for an advance on the next resistance level at 46c, then 50c, then 60c then 75c ....
I suggest those who haven't seen nordesmic latest youtube presentation mentioning SLR do so.
