Hop on their Facebook and message them. They respond to suggestions etc. suggest to them to post an informal "project newsletter" every second month or quarter giving an update of all active projects. This is essentially what project staff and partners would be provided with during the project.

Sometimes I've experienced things can be made to look more rosey than they are in reality on news letters. If something doesn't align with public announcements it could cause issues.

Public reporting is usually kept separate from internal activities so doubt a news letter would happen. But you could try and ask for it.
