The announcement from Mr.Carroll confirms that Schuessler was COO in charge of international and operations (apparently you have not read the full announcement or have missed some communications sent to by the previous Board). Mr. Schuessler did take over from Sal and delivered double digit decline while his predecessor grew the business consistently for 10 quarters , so I guess it depends how do you define depth for a role which I believe is potentially different than the average investor.
