I have a feeling that the facility at Albany will closely resemble the WaveHub facility in Cornwall. Participating technologies are able to plug into connectors that are connected by cable to the mainland where power can be fed into the grid.
WaveHub has berths available for both wind and wave devices, each technology has it's own anchoring system.
I would think it unlikely that wind and wave devices would share the same anchoring system because of how the arrays are configured. The multi tethered CETO 6 devices have been designed to share foundations in close proximity.
On the other hand offshore wind devices have to be widely spaced because of their giant blades.
It is worth looking at the WaveHub video to get a preview of what a multiple technology plug and play hub might look like.
