Hey Mani, welcome and good luck. Have a look at the thread: "Imaginary cobalt fund" (think that's what it is called), by Procastinator (see posts on the cobalt topic, not lithium topic). Procrastinator tracks the rises in the last 12 months of about 30 lithium stocks and about 30 cobalt stocks. In an earlier post on that thread the companies are listed. My feeling is with $20,000, don't just go for three stocks. (What if a mining licence isn't granted for 1 stock? What if 1 stock hits a major problem or poor results? What if the shareprice of 1 stock goes nowhere or backwards for more than 12 months? etc). I usually spread my funds between 8 stocks so that one unlucky stock doesn't mean one third of holdings are shipwrecked. Procrastinator's postings show that the tide is rising for most good ships.
