You made a blanket statement that no company would make this kind of announcement. There are many other examples of CFO resignation announcements, made before selection of a replacement. These are some names I recognised - there are many more:
- Specialty Fashion Group (SFH) 10.10.16
- Isentia (ISD) 23.03.17
- Asaleo Care (AHY) 15.05.17
- ISelect (ISU) 17.11.17
On KMP. It is strange that the CFO is not listed as a KMP in the Annual Report. Given that MO has been spruiking financial innovation / complexity as a competitive advantage of CCE, it's hard to see why the CFO was not considered to be someone who has "authority and responsibility for planning, directing and controlling the activities if the entity, either directly or indirectly".
