one cause of action might be the constant reassurances from Molyneux that all was progressing well, including the deal with CNNC in that now-infamous “documentation phase”. That implied to me that an asset sale was imminent, barring the contracts being signed.
I’d have sold PDN much earlier than I did, but for the various reassurances from the CEO. The decision (not to sell) cost me a lot of money.
I think that management should be accountable for their announcements, and I understand that they have a duty of continuous disclosure to the markets.
