The royalty deals. Lithium prices are soaring and have been on a fast rising trajectory for two years. Prices are about A$75k a ton now or $75 a kilo. So for ore containing a fairly rich grade 1.5% or 1.5 kilos a ton, or $115 worth, commission of $2 ton ore plus $2 ton metal is about 1.73% of the end value of the metal.
Just WOW! This metal is in vary short supply and extreme demand and its only starting.
The Mt Marion deposit would you believe is only about 80 million tons ands its the second biggest and almost the richest in the whole world. The $2/ton on the metal sounds like the few trinkets the Dutch gave the Indians for Manhattan Island, to me.
Lithium deposits are much better than most gold. WGX market capitalisation is about $500 mill. Mt Marion, not a big set of plant, will produce concentrate with contained lithium worth about US $1.2 billion at current prices.
But all is not lost. I can see the punt of a lifetime coming out of this and its NOT WGX.

The market is so impressed that WGX share price has just FALLEN 5 cents when gold is almost US1300 again! Roaring up likely on spec of US attacking N Korea with nukes next week.
