Been doing some research on Mt Marion. Its one of the very best and richest lithium mines in the world, and the value of the project is about $1billion. It looks very much like there is quite a bit in area 53 (belonging to WRX) which is at the northern end. The defined deposit goes some distance into area 53, but the definition looks like a straight line E-W. Drilling limit probably. There are a number of ore outcrops at the surface in the northerly direction, indicating shallow resource. This area is very high grade for lithium. If another 20-25% was added to the resource there it would have an in ground value of something like A$200 million by my simple estimates. That just by itself is one third of the market capitalisation of WGX and three to five times the market capitalisation of TON. It looks like Cooky sold out far too cheaply a share in the more southern part to one of the Mt Marion partners. The one that got away. There is far more money in lithium deposits like this than there is in marginal gold diggings. The share price of the main (43.5% Australian partner in Mt Marion, Mineral Resources, is about $21 now. A bit better than $1.80 for WGX.
