Per it’s 2017 Annual Report there are more than 150,000 Salesforce customers. One of the previous year's report mentioned that Salesforce has approximately 25 subscribers each customer.
Going by the same number Salesforce should now have a total subscriber base of 3.75 million. Salesforce attained 26% revenue growth over last year and recorded $8.4 Billion in revenue.
Majority of their revenue comes from Americas region (71%) followed by Europe (18%) and APAC (11%).
Salesforce recently confirmed in one of their press release that they have 20,000 customers in Europe. The rest of the world, including Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, etc, accounts for about 10% of customers. With 3.75 million subscribers and 2700 AppExchange apps with 3 million total installs it is clearly the leader in CRM space.
Based on Forbes and Business Insider reports it now owns about 18% of the total CRM market.
At the same time based on Alexa top 1 Million websites, Salesforce has about 45% market share. Salesforce offers 6 core service offerings, all integrated on a single platform:
