Day rates for the rig would far in excess off having a testing crew on site. It is my belief that all parties concerned are well appraised of the well potential, and are happy to delay the testing. The well has after all been completed for production.....I think that says it !
Its possible that the test gear could be kept on location as production gear if its an oil well. They only need to separate the oil/gas and truck out the oil.
