HIGHLIGHTS KATANNING (VANADIUM, TITANIUM AND IRON ORE) • Field mapping and sampling carried out on three of the main prospects located in the central part of the project. Highly anomalous results were received from surface geochemical samples with values of up to 1.5% vanadium pentoxide and 48% iron from the Mine Hill prospect and up to 1.1% vanadium pentoxide and 50% iron from the Red Hill prospect. • Bulk samples of massive titanomagnetite taken from Mine Hill and Red Hill for metallurgical test work assayed 1.53% and 1.46% vanadium pentoxide respectively. • Promising and encouraging results from the initial metallurgical test work with concentrate values up to 2% vanadium pentoxide and 63% iron achieved at relatively coarse grind sizes. The concentrate also showed fairly low levels of the deleterious mineral silica at less than 1.5%. • Airborne magnetic survey over the Katanning area was completed; geophysical interpretation has commenced.
