Oracle is a US 200B market cap company with just under US 40B in annual revenue so aconex is just not going to be able to move the share price when it is such an insignificant part of their business by comparison. The oracle business actually is fairly expensive at 20x earnings and revenues have been virtually flat for the last 4 years.
I actually think this will possibly help Procore as they will have focus and are more nimble allowing them to adapt to changes in technology fast. A company like Oracle will have layers upon layers of bureaucracy and Aconex will need to do things the Oracle way. Unfortunately they are not a listed company so unable to park the funds in them.
