The acquirers of Westfield made their first approach in 2014 so I’m not giving up on Habour Energy after a few weeks. I’d be amazed if a company big enough to take over Santos would come in and make their one and only offer of their top price and then walk away when it’s rejected. Strange t/o attempt if they don’t come back. I also believe there will be other bidders if they come back closer to the money. Santos have some desirable assets for any number of suitors and our friends ENN and Hony are sitting very quietly with a very valuable last bid option. Regards Tommy DYOR
