Without knowing exactly what they are trying to acheive here - all and I mean all of the major network players are currently deep into software defined WAN - it is one of the hottest trends in networking - and have been for about three years (I work amongst the space). Basically the solution agregates multiple links into one bonded link - but there is a hang of a lot more to it than that - these guys are not even in the car park of the ballpark let alone playing the game with this stuff (if that is where they are trying to go which I am not 100% sure)z
It is a massive growth area with a significant expected uptake over the next few years.
To cut a long story short - with the proliferation of hybrid cloud environments - and SaaS Office 365 and a Skype for Business - traditional MPLS links are not up to scratch.
But again it was a question cause I took a quick look and as soon as I saw what they were trying to roll out it seems to be reinventing a wheel that is far down the track (unless they are trying to carve a niche somehow - which frankly wouldn’t be easy)
Am I missing something?
