Ok.. on the surface, a 1c share looks appealing. Should be able to double to 2c very quickly, right? Not always the case..
Always check the Market Capitalisation. (MC)
The Mc is essentially the value of the company.
The formula for determining the Mc is:
shares on issue (soi) X share price (sp) = MC
So for Lrs: 2.6B shares x 1.1c = $28.8M
I’ve tried to simplify it as best as possible. Hope it helps. I would recommend doing a bit more research before you decide to throw money at this end of the market..
