yeah interesting to know who's feeding the press ? Anyways will see how this bid pans out.

20 more days to end of the year, so their December Qtrly figures should come out around wk-3 Jan and then the full year results around mid-Feb. Gas flowrates from GLNG have been good as per gasbb portal.
So overall it should be a better year, with regards to overall Revenue, Ebitdax & FCF, compared to the last 2 years, primarily due to better Sales Rev & better Oil prices.

    2015:

    Sales: 64.3 mmboe, Rev: USD 2478m, EBITDAX: USD 811 m, POO: USD53.8/bbl
    NtDebt: USD 4749mil

    2016:
Sales: 84.1 mmboe, Rev: USD 2627m, EBITDAX: USD 1199m, POO: USD 46.4/bbl
    NtDbt: USD 3492mil

    1H 2017:

Sales: 40.1 mmboe, Rev: USD 1496mil, EBITDAX: USD 718m, POO: USD 54.8/bbl
Nt Debt: USD 2928 mil (was down to USD2838mil by Sep17).

Earlier in the week (5th Dec) article in AFR said the following:

Linda Cook, the former Shell executive who now heads Santos suitor Harbour Energy, has been Down Under for a series of meetings with key stakeholders.

It is understood that Cook, who previously led Shell's global gas business, met with potential lenders and equity investors. Sources also suggested she has held talks with representatives of Santos' biggest shareholders, which include Chinese groups ENN and Hony.

While some have suggested Harbour, which made its first approach to Santos in August, could come back with a fresh bid as soon as this week, the smart money is on a bid coming in the later stages of December.
