Hi all,
Bought my parcel in ROO yesterday, did not manage to participate in the raising. Intend to stay for the long run here. Reading through the prospectus now and here are some key takeaways that I think could help move the stock
1) Entering into licensing agreement
Enter into licensing agreements with leading global irrigation and/or greenhouse infrastructure players and/or with agriculture suppliers – Based on discussions with companies to date, the Company expects to be able to enter into at least 1 strategic agreement before 2018. [Pg. 33]
2) Study in Spain to be completed in 12 months which allows for market penetration.
Some risk that the company has stated:
1) Slow penetration/High marketing cost in the Agriculture space
2) Aiming for Low-Mid economies, cost of goods could be expensive to consumers in those areas
3) Extreme climate conditions works well for the Technology but Odd weather conditions in those regions could impact viability of technology (Hot winter or Cold summer)
A few questions I have on the company are:
1) How long do the pipes last? Is there a high recurring cost for the farmers?
2) Input materials of the technology and whether there is any supply side factors that could affect the manufacturing process
3) What will the data collected from crops be used for?
Regards,R
