"The understanding is that Harbour wants to pay about $5.30 a share for the company, but hedge funds are willing to accept only a price of at least $5.60 and institutional investors at least $6." - Close at $5 today makes it easy to have a nice round % premium....would be curious to see who is feeding the media - is setting it up for a $6.20-6.30 bid in my eyes by stating that the instos are after $6. Logic being that an insto knows the 'value' and if a premium is added to that then Joe Blow would see it as exceeding fair value....
Grasping at straws, but who knows...
