I'm not upset, Subs.
You just misconstrue, make assumptions and take a lot of things out of context. I never said you are a ramper, I never said there is not value here, I have made comms with the company - many times in fact. I am not upset, I am voicing an opinion. I am not here to try to suck in other investors to try protect my investment, I am not here to try get people to sell, I am simply balancing a discussion.
I'm also not upset you are upbeat about Gary's performance - I just disagree that his performance has been satisfactory. I don't care if he is a nice bloke, that's not what we are paying him to be. I believe he is very conservative, which is not ideal as an explorer - but it is good for a money making business, which NAE is not. I believe he is best suited to the former i.e BHP style of management. We need someone more assertive, even more aggressive in a business sense imo. Some people are easily pleased when it comes to directors or employees of a business, I am not one of those people.
I can't imagine how those who bought in at the time when Gary first started here must feel.... He's taken a company with good prospects and turned it into a company trading at less than many shell companies. He is the director, which means he ultimately is the one takes responsibility for that. As a CEO analyser or whatever you said you like do, you would know that's how it works in business.
Yes, it may be value buying at these levels if one is happy to wait it out and take the punt that the market might one day respond to future activity and results - However, that doesn't let management off the hook for getting us here in first place, as, for the most part, they have made the best part of the whole the register far far poorer than they once were - that's a fact, whether you choose to agree or not. That does not equate to good performance, how you can even try justify so is beyond my comprehension - lucky you don't work in my business. "he's a nice guy though" just doesn't cut it.
Not going to discuss this any further with you, as you will find another way to put words in my mouth or misconstrue to suit whatever your Gary hugging stance is at the time. He needs to pull his finger out, big time and my view won't change unless he does exactly that. The market will be the ultimate judge in the end.
