So there we have it. GtP has been given ample opportunity to explain why he is interested in TOU. He has failed to share one reason.
It seems odd that on one hand he wants to share endlessly his thoughts on what is wrong with TOU, but unwilling to share what his interest in the stock is.
Why? None of us know why. To spend the time to go back and read 2013 prospectus, to post to the degree he does – clearly he must have a reason – given he does not hold the stock.
The fact he does not hold the stock, the fact he so ‘articulately’ and repeatedly shares what he sees are the issues, but is incapable of describing what his interest is. The obsessive number of posts in a company he has no shares in. The fact that he repeatedly talks about the companies ‘mammoth task’ and the way management deliver – ‘pump up’ information – certainly points to one possibility. And I am of course speculating here, (which I am sure GtP will so wisely point out – as usual) but it points towards someone who has a very personal issue with the company and/or someone involved with it and they are just trying to kick it as hard as they can.
Seriously what successful person invests so much time trashing something they have nothing to do with? That is to say the posts are most likely motivated by something quite unrelated to the prospects of the company.
One thing is for certain, he will not let up.
No one will ever prove him wrong on any point in his mind. You only have to look at the superior tone he uses, in his mind he is above everyone else and that will never change.
As Hezhogg rightly pointed out. It is people like this that drive people away from hotcopper. So for the benefit of the forum, for the benefit of hotcopper can we all please hit the ignore function (under account settings in the top left of the screen) and starve this maliciously motivated timewaster of the oxygen he so obsessively craves.
I hit the ignore button as suggested by the moderator, but unfortunately all the threads that are left are responses to the ignored persons posts. Its high time we ignore as a constructive group and return the forum to to what it should be.
Finally in terms of flaming and baiting - there is nothing more flaming or baiting than continually posting comments that are incorrect about the company. Of course everyone will respond to correct as they obviously have been. Then they get called out for flaming or baiting. It is pretty obvious there is one issue here. If the crew managing this show wont address it, as a group we need to - the best way is to hit the ignore function - so we can talk about TOU productively again.
