I honestly can't figure out why this isn't running harder, the amount of growth happening with the current balance sheet makes for a phenomenal period of growth in earnings for the next few years, even a bad result regarding the class action could just be swept aside and forgotten about in the space of 12 months.
With the debt now being able to be used for the entire loan book and every segment of the business now both profitable and growing they could pay out $30m and barely bat an eyelid long term.
If they actually successfully defend the class action this company will be a $billion company within 3 years IMO.
If they pay out $30m and move on it should still be a half $billion company in 3 years.
Been such a long time since we heard a single thing about the class action, surely something must be due to happen soon?
Ezcorp is humming along and could easily mount a take over or at least creep their holding up a little, probably not far off the point where a share buyback would be the fiscally responsible thing to do for CCV whilst keeping the dividend on hold.
Accrued dividend imputation credits are building fast off an already high base well past the point where they could pay enough dividends to ever utilize them, has to be either a buyback or capital raising to pay a special dividend (which I believe the tax office are cracking down on), possibly leaving ONLY the buyback option hence why I suggest it.
No matter which way you slice this puppy it's undervalued
