Cost items such as listing fees would normally come under fixed costs, which is the broad term for any recurring cost of running a business outside of cost of sale. But you are right in that marketing is a big variable cost and can determine bottom line profit or loss.
However, I am comfortable that their marketing costs wont consume their gross profit before EBITDA
