Hey all, I appreciate the impassioned debate on this forum. I like the business, don't know much about the directors, but am surprised the SP is as low as it is.

One point which keeps getting mentioned is the release of 1.5bn restricted securities in Jan 2018.

Can I ask what people think will happen on the date that these securities become unrestricted? And secondly, can I also ask whether or not it is in the restricted security-holders interest to keep the value of these 1.5b shares low before they attempt to offload to market?

Looking at the company as a modest shareholder and with a fairly dispassionate view of things, it seems to me that if the company is doing well, it would not be in the directors' interests to keep the SP down and then attempt to sell 1.5bn shares in a market where there are practically no buyers.

So therefore I logically conclude that either (1) there will be no selling of these securities unless it is by way of some off-market transfer to a funds manager or the like, or (2) there will be one or more announcements aimed at pushing up the SP prior to any attempt to offload.
