I just spoke to Commsec who advised me that I can trade the DIO shares I currently hold but not on-line. I need to contact them by phone to arrange a trade of these shares, presumably because they need to consolidate my current DIO holdings on the 1 for 14 basis to get my equivalent DIODA shareholding.
I assume this would be the case with all brokers.
