IMO it was more amateurs and punters than insiders involved in yesterdays run of CYL. There won't be a mine at Tandarra. It's a tightly held farming area of highly productive soil in a rich irrigated food bowl. Rich lifestyle farmers with old money will put up a strong fight.
KLG will be looking for gold closer by in the arid Fosterville boondocks or close to Stawell... where they only have to fight off brown snakes and billy goats before considering taking on Tandarra farmers with irrigated paddocks in a food bowl.
