Will wait for @chris1983 to give you his ideas from the AGM. I also attended and was very impressed with Ian Olsen's presentation. Had only arrived back from US at 5.00am previous morning. He (and the team) are very customer oriented and they see this as being a unique aspect of the business model. They listen to what the customer wants and work with them to try to find the solution. They offer "compelling value".

On the visit to US they attended the Autodesk user conference, making contacts there. Ian described how Autodesk are developing a cloud platform Autodesk Forge (look it up). He described this as similar to Apple's app store where lots of different software in this category will be available to Autodesk's 5.6m global customers. Now, am not sure whether we are getting on this platform or utilising it, or in discussion. One of the groups (?) he spoke to was going to assist with engineers to supplement and enable our technical staff to further adapt our software (sorry a bit vague, not sure if it was Autodesk or AAM, but Ian so enthusiastic and told us lots of stuff)

The other purpose for the US trip was to meet up with recruiters in or to appoint a "person on the ground in US". They considered this crucial to get the "right" person, it was so critical that they are not going to rush it, but rather get it right.

One of the priority customers it seems that have evolved out of their marketing/sales research are the utilities. This seems to be the area they will target in the short term.

Their connections with personnel from NEA have been useful thoughout the past 15mths they have been listed as their experience has enabled 3DP to avoid errors that can be easily made in the whole listing/ASX process. They seem to aim at running a pretty lean operation in terms of manpower.

Sorry for any errors, but the brain hurts from trying to remember everything. He's a fast talker and a straight talker and there were lots of complicated concepts for the layperson.
