I would have thought CBS would salivate at the thought of acquiring the Prime content contract that Prime currently has with 7 West Media as this contract is up for renegotiation in 2018.
7 West Media has mooted a significant price increase is likely, but with CBS as an alternative I am not so sure. CBS has a huge war chest of cash and it will likely invest more to protect its new investment in Channel 10. A new content contract with PRT would be a good thing for CBS.
The landscape is now becoming very interesting and PRT shareholders are in the box seat IMHO.

Hi Daicosisgod,
The main affiliation agreements and partnerships changed mid 2016. The attached article has a good diagram of the complex media interests and affiliations before CBS also appeared on the scene to complicate things even more.
