That is PR, you would not believe a word of it. He needs an announcement. You take this stuff with a grain of salt. Until these guys actually have them on the road, its all pie in the sky stuff.
Tesla has not even given a truck or proto type over for testing, they dont have one, what they are presenting is a concept. Allot of the people going wild over this have no idea Eg
1) look at the cabin., its all wrong, the ergonomics are terrible, that wont even meet basic standards in most US states, it will be deemed illegal
2) he quoted a 0-60 time of 5 sec for the truck. That is completely irrelevant in trucking, you do not want fast accelration in trucking, it damages cargo.
I can go on, but this is a presentation done by amatuers to the clueless.
You realise this is all for captual raising?. He is lattering up the faithfull for another capital raising. This stuff wont hit the roads for years if ever, Tesla may not even be around then. This company has serious cash issues, they no have patents and using old technology and their manufacturing quality control is woeful.

This is a nice summary of some of the issues Tesla faces. These guys cant even get their 3 production right and they announced that months ago.
