This was on the FMG thread, doesn't talk about ALF. Very interesting comments by a fund manager how they invest . He talks about the future and his investment strategy going forward predicting factors that can influence the market and sectors that will benifit and lose. One thing he states is that they set themselves up for future events rather than knee jerking after the fact. Certainly makes my investing look hit and miss.
