I'm a bit disappointed that they gone to the effort of even thinking about this, but I suspect they have been badgered and begged by small shareholders for a long time.
Incidentally, their chances of index inclusion is virtually zero. Liquidity is a criterion for index inclusion and no matter how many share splits they do, the stock is too tightly owned for there to ever be sufficient liquidity.
