Yes, I think you read it wrong: ERC's decision is for an interim connection cutting-in to the existing 500kv Naga-Tayabas line which still has a spare capacity of 270kv (which is not the Pagbilao-Tayabas line) and then to connect via EWC's to be constructed 230kv line (capacity of 1,200MW) directly to the yet to be built NGCP's Pagbilao Substation. As you can see, the interim line connection has enough capacity (ie. about 1,500MW) for EWC's 650MW power plant to connect to it. I do not know how long this connection re: cutting-in to the existing 500kv line is and what, if any, 'right of way' purchases need to be made. Later today (approx. 1pm) Stewart will present his conference paper (lng conference, Manilla).
