@miningnut: I think a few holders panicked and sold down on Monday. The fact that it closed unchanged... they might not be able to buy their stock back unfortunately.
@thecone: I don't really see any reason for 50c to be psychologically important... it's a big round number but not really more so than 40c or 45c really...
On the other hand... I do think that 60c and 70c will be very psychologically important.
I expect 60c will act like a magnet and draw the price upwards until it breaks through.
It might consolidate around 60c-70c for a while... possibly until the next quarterly report in January.
On the other hand... if it breaks above 70c, that's a new 12 month high and would probably push it higher.
Price of gold is a wildcard, and could bring tailwinds or headwinds... but looking good so far.
