Yep, I'm angry and will be voting NO, but my piddly little shareholding compared to the 400-odd million total wouldn't even come close to being a factor in the vote.
I don't believe the directors can vote for their particular resolution, but there some to be some exclusions in place that might allow them? In any case, I am sure it will be you scratch my back and I will scratch yours.
I have no issues whatsoever with performance rights and fair pay for directors, management and key personnel when the SP is increasing, but this is now a downward slide. There are some very good stories out there at the moment and I truly believed this was going to be major discovery, but unfortunately I now have lost that belief.
