The Business Review section of the Weekend Australian (published today, 28/10) has a coverage on the current interest in gold exploration in the Pilbara. The article covers the activities taking place and the principal players involved. It also give a sideline on the owner of the Prospecting Supplies shop at Karratha. The inference is that "as in previous gold rushes, it the suppliers that thrive" and not necessarily those that do the looking or those who support the lookers (the shareholders). The article points out that share price valuations in Nova, in particular, have got ahead of themselves and it may well be time to think about selling down.
