Or we keep it really simple.. if you have 10 machines onsite, and 2 of them got encrypted with a virus that you refused to pay the ransom on.. each of those employees get paid $100k a year or equivalent to $500/day .... by the time you work out what to do , and then get a technician onsite to fix it (usually next business day, you have now lost 2 days for 2 high cost individuals... that is equivalent to $2k, then you still have to pay the IT firm to rectify the situation or reimage the machines, so say another few hundred... then it is likely those employees did not keep their files on the server and therefor will have to recreate some of their files... etc...

Simply so many scenarios I could go through.. have not read the document but if they are not highlighting basic scenarios like this to show the value of what they are offering.. it is a missed opportunity.
