Below are the first sentence from a MarketWatch report on the API data, just to show how hard the broker try to mislead the readers:
"API data reportedly shows hefty rise in U.S. crude supply, but gasoline stockpiles drop" ... "U.S. crude supplies rose by 519,000 barrels" ... "showed a drop of 5.8 million barrels".
"519,000 barrels" is a 'hefty rise', while "5.8 million barrels" is merely a "drop".
