In the resources sector, there is sometimes some farming going on. That is, farming of shareholders for never ending sums of cash to prop up a non viable business.

I did not participate in the last cash raising and will not in this one. The company has painted a rosy picture of the future which has resulted in a high share price at the moment. However, the long term viability of the business is marginal as they produce the "next best fish" following the failure of their Southern Blue Fin Tuna farming, the original reason for creating the company.

As I expected, the share price is dropping to match the capital raising almost straight away. I got too greedy and didn't get out at 7.5 cents when I should have. Now I have a diluted holding and I expect it will take ages to reach that level again.

I hope I am wrong and would be pleased to eat some humble pie.
